Prosperity Paradigm

creating abundance

How do you measure success? Is it money, fame and fortune? When you lie on your deathbed, what are going remember about your life? Will it be how much wealth you accumulated or will it be the joy of having lived your life in the moment?

As I enter the twilight of my life, I have come to a much deeper understanding of what true success is. It has little to do with how rich you are or how many toys you have acquired. Success, when the grim reaper comes, is truly measured in how you lived your life. It is your life's journey that is truly important.

Certainly, I have had my share of challenges and have occasionally strayed from the higher path. That, of course, is ancient history. What I will remember on my deathbed is the joy and love that I received and gave to others, the respect that I had for myself and that which I gave to others and most of all the thankfulness that I felt every time I drew a breath.

I have always been a teacher. No, not in the sense of a school teacher but, a teacher of life's lessons. I have spent my life in the search and study of self-fulfillment and have enjoyed sharing this path to anyone who was interested. I have never pretended to be a guru of self-help but, many of my closest friends call me Sifu. If my teachings have helped anyone improve their life then this is one of the things that I will remember on my deathbed.

One of the big life lessons that we should all learn is that we are totally responsible for the reality of our life. Thoughts become things and either we control our minds and realities or we shirk our responsibility and allow outside forces to control us. Perhaps, you come from a background that taught you a poverty mindset. With the right tools and techniques, you can overcome these self-defeating behaviors and lead a life of success and fulfillment. Your mind is not you. It is your property and if you take responsibility for your life, limitless wealth and personal power are yours.

Far too many people allow their subconscious mind rule their lives and as a result blame all of their failures on external events that are beyond their control. They become content with being a victim of life rather than a creator of their own reality. At the time of this writing, we are at a time of great strife in the financial markets and our economy is being run by fear. At the same time, Warren Buffet sees this as a time of great opportunity. If there is anything that is the root of all evil, fear is at the top of the list. It is fear that is the cause of most wars, personal failures and now the current stock-market crash. Have courage, overcome fear and watch how your life improves.

The past is ancient history and the future is just a mythical construct of our minds, the only time that you have is in the current moment. Live it to the fullest with courage, respect, love and thankfulness and in the end, you will look back upon a life of sweet memories and no regrets.
