Prosperity Paradigm

creating abundance

I received an email yesterday that contained a question I have been asked many times. “How do I enact the Law of Attraction?” she wanted to know. My bluntest answer is… you do not. I see people writing about or giving advice about enacting the Law of Attraction and I just shake my head.

Maybe it is just a matter of semantics, but I think it is an important distinction. You do not enact the Law of Attraction. It is always in action. Would you ask “How do I enact gravity?” Of course not; you already know that it is always in action by itself. Building a water tower for your town is using your understanding of gravity to create a desired effect, such as water pressure to supply to your town’s water delivery system. But you have not enacted Gravity. You have simply applied your understanding of it.

Would you ask “How do I enact the Law of Polarity?” Of course not. It is always in action without any effort or intention on your part. Putting a battery in your car to start your engine is not enacting the Law of Polarity. It is simply using your understanding of it.

So, if the Law of Attraction is always in action and does not need to be enacted, the wiser question then becomes, “How do I apply my knowledge of this law to create desired effects in my life?”

So, instead of just saying, you do not and cannot enact the Law of Attraction, this is what I sent as an answer:

There is no need to do anything in order to bring the Law of Attraction to apply to your life. It already is in action. It is already enacted. What you want to know is how to use your understanding that IT IS ALWAYS AT WORK to create desired effects instead of random effects into your life. Here are five things that you can do to enact your understanding…

1. Create a list of specific ideals that you hold for yourself and your world. Start and finish each day by focusing your attention on these ideals.

2. Form the attitude of gratitude. Start each day expressing your gratitude for the many blessings you already have in your life. End each day expressing your gratitude for the many wonderful things (your ideals) that you are in the process of creating.

3. Constantly affirm, to yourself and others, the reality of your ideals, your dreams, your goals and your ambitions.

4. Create a game plan, a list of intermediate goals, a to do list that must be done in order to effectuate your ideals. Follow that game plan. Take intentional action every day.

5. Be willing to allow and accept that you must change in order for your world to change. Figure out how to become more, how to create more, how to contribute more.

You must know what you want. You must always focus your attention on what you want and not on what you don’t want. You must believe in the reality of your ideals. You must take intentional action. What do you desire to have? What is your game plan?
